A $6 billion investment in Oldham County means new direct revenue for the county. That includes new tax revenue for Oldham County Schools, Ambulances, La Grange Fire Department, Health Department, Public Libraries, General Fiscal Court, and Extension Services. With as much as $51.4 million in combined tax revenue, teachers could get raises with schools and public libraries gaining more resources, emergency services will be better protected, extension services will be able to better support the strong agriculture community in Oldham County, and so much more.
The OC Data Center’s significant investment also means more jobs for the local community. For Oldham County. The project will create 176 jobs with an average, high-paying salary of $83,000 for Oldham Countians.
